I purchased this board game for my daughter for Christmas and the entire family jumped in and played. While not as simple to learn as the directions/reviews state, we did learn pretty quickly how to play and strategize. We struggled to figure out the reasoning behind the destination tickets, but things got clearer when we got help by checking out the many reviews/instructions available on YouTube and elsewhere onlineThe game goes pretty quickly. It took us about an hour to complete, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the game. The board is quite attractive to the eye and included pieces are well made. There are several other versions of the Ticket to Ride series, and I recommend that you start with this one because of its simplicity. This is an excellent family night board game. Put away the electronics, turn off the TV and gather the family together with this fun game

Who knew that infecting the world could be so much fun? I bought this and once I started, well, I've not really stopped. Just a great, institutive strategy game where you can start slow with 'casual' or go do the 'brutal' options. Even though you only start with the 'virus' - there are so many options on how to play the game: depending upon what country you pick, and how you choose your transmission method, the symptom of your disease and the abilities. You can play a dozen games on casual, with virus, and pick different countries and it will be a completely different game each time - BRILLIANTI first heard of this game in my Instructional Technology class. The way the presenter talked about it made it seem very scary but it's really not. It is a ton of fun, though! The object of the game is to infect the entire population of the world with a plague and have them die from it before a cure is found. There is no gore or violence. All you see is a map of the world with statistics at the bottom, planes and ships going from country to country, news reports that you can act on by altering your plague according to the news, and the screens you access to increase infectivity, symptoms, or abilities. It is actually very educational and a good way to get a child interested in the science behind it. There are several different difficulty levels you can play on. Different types of plagues (virus, bacterial, prion, etc.) have different attributes that can make it more difficult as well because you have to alter your strategy for that type. This game is great for all ages

I was comfy! My attitude shifted I felt like a schoolbus or house could be lifted So if you are warm, or got forbid hot PLEASE BUY THIS FAN, it's the best one I've got.I bought this fan because our house does not have good circulation unless we are running the central air. We can open all the windows and air still doesn't seem to move. My wife and I also have a challenge because I need moving air to sleep and she cannot have any moving air or she gets an ear ache and headache! I read a little about air circulators and how they can move air around a room effectively, so I thought for $14 bucks I would make a minimal investment and give this a try. I found out very quickly that this tiny little fan can really move the stale air with very little noise. When I started it up on high speed, it didn't feel like it was moving a very impressive amount of air close up, but as I moved away 5, 10, 15, and 20 feet it seemed as if there was a concentrated cylinder of air moving in a vortex of sorts. I was pretty amazed. I placed this on the floor in the corner of our bedroom and aimed it at the ceiling toward the opposite corner of the room. It really moved the air around the room nicely without the violent blowing and noise of a box fan. For me, the moving indirect air is enough to keep me sleeping comfortably through the night and I hope that this indirect air doesn't end up giving my wife ear aches over the long haul. I have to believe this fan uses far less energy than the huge box fans that are clumsy and inefficient. I'm sold on air circulators, and will probably pick up a few more for other rooms in the house.
