| This is the ONLY product I have ever found in my 69 years that gets out "oily/greasy dressing stains"! Saturate the spot with this, leave sit for a little while, then wash in the hottest water possible for the longest amount of time. If that doesn't work, do it again. It will be totally gone the second time around | I've been using this for a long time and it has removed every stain with only one washing. However the stain comes out in the wash. I don't know how you could duplicate a wash cycle on carpet. Perhaps you could put some on the carpet, let it sit for a few minutes and then go over it with a carpet cleaner. It's worth a try | | |

This is my personal honest opinion and I get a little frustrated seeing so many reviews on amazon from people who have received free or discounted products in exchange for reviews.
